A New Favorite Font

Someone over on the Smart Buy gal forum was talking about a font, AR Decode.  I never heard of it, but someone posted a link to download it, here it is.  It is a beautiful font, and it looks like it'll cut great.  I haven't cut it yet, but if you do, let me know how it cuts.

Some Fancy Fonts I Like

I have a couple friends who are just starting out in the Cricut/ SCAL/vinyl world.  I thought I would do a post showing some of my favorite fancy fonts to help get them started.  I will do a few more posts in the next couple weeks with my favs in other font families.  Here they are in list form, each font name is a link to the download (free, my favorite price!)  Aquarelle, Balmoral D, Edwardian ScriptInspiration, Old English Text, Dominique,
Majestic, Scriptina, Vivaldi, Monsieur La Doulaise, Shelly Volante

Do you have a fav fancy font you don't see on the list??  What is it??

New Font: You Gotta Have It!!

Sugarcakes2 over on the Craft Edge forum made a font that she was kind enough to share with us.  It is a great font for scrapbookers with lots of shapes, frames, borders, envelopes, etc.  I love the shapes to cut from chalkboard vinyl for a great addition to the kitchen or pantry.  If you like what you see on the character map above, you can download the font here.
If you are wondering how I made the character map, Becky Melton has an awesome online character map generator.  A great tool to organize your dingbat treasures (fonts).  You have to check it out here.  Type in the name of any installed dingbat font you want to generate a character map for (type it is exactly as it is named) and poof, just like magic, it will spit out a character map for you!!

Thanks sugarcakes2 for the great font and Becky for the great charactermap generator.
