I have a couple friends who are just starting out in the Cricut/ SCAL/vinyl world. I thought I would do a post showing some of my favorite fancy fonts to help get them started. I will do a few more posts in the next couple weeks with my favs in other font families. Here they are in list form, each font name is a link to the download (free, my favorite price!) Aquarelle, Balmoral D, Edwardian Script, Inspiration, Old English Text, Dominique,
Majestic, Scriptina, Vivaldi, Monsieur La Doulaise, Shelly Volante
Do you have a fav fancy font you don't see on the list?? What is it??

Those are beautiful fonts, and good to know they will cut well with SCAL or MTC. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteI am trying to figure out how to cut my daughters name on vinyl to stick to the wall in her room. I have the cricut expression and I wanted to use the Vivald font. Is this even a possibility? I can't seem to find a catridge with that font.
Hi Lupe. You can cut any true type font with your cricut but you need a third party software and a computer to do it. The one that is available now is called Sure Cuts Alot. You can click on the link in the upper right hand corner of my blog to get more info or go to Craftedge.com It is a great program, I use it for all my projects. You only need to own one cart and you are only limited by your own imagination.
ReplyDeleteEnjoy your new Cricut!! :-)
Hi Michelle,
ReplyDeleteI visited craftedge.com to learn more about Sure Cuts A Lot. It looks like SCAL no longer works with the Cricut machine and you can no longer purchase a version that works with the Cricut. So sad:( Still looking for some kind of software that will be able to cut my TT fonts without having to purchase another electronic cutting machine. But thanks for the info!

Michelle, Love your files, thank you. I would like to download "Dominique" and have downloaded the file to unzip and then it doesn't give me the option to download unless I download an ad. Can you help with this. Really like
